FC Barcelona wraps up festivities for the Year of the Snake

In Chinese traditions, the snake is a symbol of wisdom and resilience, ushering in a new year filled with potential and transformation. With a full month of celebrations throughout the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake, FC Barcelona wishes to extend its heartfelt wishes to Culers in the Asia Pacific region and around the world.
Players from the Women’s and Men’s teams shared their new year greetings via a short clip with specially designed blessings relevant to the Chinese word “snake”. Ingrid, Cata, Mapi, Kika, Alexia and Ewa Pajor from the Women's team, Pau Víctor, Pedri, Kounde, Olmo, Fermin and Cubrasi from the Men's team wished everyone around the world health, happiness, and prosperity in the Year of the Snake.

There were traditional dragon and lion dance performance, DJ show, Calligraphy workshop and drum interactions with Culers, filling the stadiums with joy and new year blessings. The digital stickers as designed in collaboration with students from China Jiliang University also attracted loads of support from our fans in China.
To strengthen the ties between the Club and our partners, 17 partners from Asia Pacific and around the world have joint hands to create a wide range of online promotions and engaging activities inside and outside of the stadium during this special occasion. These included the popular WeChat red envelope covers, Spring Festival fixtures calendar as well as onsite competitions with special prizes, bringing the best of sporting experience to our Culers all around the world.

Just like the Club and all our sporting teams always do, we will continue to strive for more successes in the Year of the Snake.
